What began as a simple passion for capturing everyday moments and adventures has grown into a full-time career — one that allows me to create heirlooms that not only capture a day of, but a love story that has been growing long before and will continue long after. Hi, I’m Megan
I’m a wedding filmmaker based in sunny San Diego, inspired by natural moments, heartfelt connection, and the kind of love that feels effortless.
I grew up in the laid-back town of San Luis Obispo, California, where my passion for storytelling began long before I ever called it that. My parents filmed everything—Christmas mornings, gymnastics meets, family road trips—always reminding me that life moves fast, but memories are worth holding onto. Watching those homemade videos taught me something important: the most meaningful moments are often the real, unposed ones.
Like every 2010s kid, I spent hours editing videos in iMovie and VideoStar just for fun. But everything changed when I was 13 and got my first GoPro. On a family trip to San Diego, I filmed everything—laughing in the car, running into the ocean, farmer’s markets, little in-between moments—and stitched it into my first story. That feeling of reliving a moment? I’ve been chasing it ever since.
I went on to study Media Studies and Communication at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I fell in love with emotional storytelling and the power of film to preserve a feeling—not just a moment.
Now I’m back in Southern California, capturing love stories for couples who value authenticity, nostalgia, and meaning over perfection. My approach is simple: I film weddings the way they feel. The nervous laugh before your first look. The way your mom squeezes your hand. The way your person looks at you when no one else sees.
I don’t just want you to watch your wedding film—I want you to feel it. To be transported. To remember not just how it looked, but how it felt to love and be loved in that moment.
